About Mike Bernstein
Mike Bernstein is a solo attorney in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. He first served as a turnover receiver in 1994. By approximately 1996, serving as receiver had become 100% of his practice.
Mike is president of Texas Association of Turnover Receivers. He has been teaching the turnover receivership for the State Bar’s Collections & Creditors’ Rights Course and other continuing legal education programs since 2005. He has been on the planning committee for the Collections & Creditors’ Rights Course since 2012 and was Course Director in 2015. Mike is a contributing author to the Texas Collection Manual. He served on the Texas Supreme Court Ancillary Proceedings Task Force from 2008 – 2011.
Mike Bernstein serves as turnover receiver statewide. He regularly serves for the courts in Dallas, Tarrant, Collin, and Denton counties. He has been appointed by courts from Hunt to Cameron counties and from Midland to Newton.
Mike focuses on collecting non-consumer debt judgments against debtors in Texas.
